What is difference between IIS 6.0 and 7.0 ?

• IIS 6.0 has admin service whereas in 7.0 it replaces with  WAS service 
• The configuration file will be saved in the Application host.config previous it saves Metabas.xml
• In 7.0 HTTP.sys will accept both HTTP and HTTPS requests
• Shared configuration has been introduced in IIS 7.0
• Server certificate tab(icon) available to manage SSL certificates
• integrated pipeline mode introduced in IIS 7.0 along with classic pipeline
