What is SSL in IIS ?

 SSL is a secure socket layer SSL provide secure connections between webserver to browser it uses HTTPS port no 443 

it follows two types of methods 

1. Encryption: it converts plain data cypher data   2. Description  : it converts cypher data to plain data
